Hamilton: "I can't motivate myself at the moment, things are not going well"

Lewis Hamilton had a choppy day on Friday of the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver showed promising pace in the first practice session but fell behind significantly in the second practice session and expressed his dissatisfaction with the car to his team at the end of the day.
The British pilot managed to become the third fastest with a time of 1:14.096 in the first practice session.
However, things changed completely in the second practice session. Hamilton finished the session in 11th place, around 0.8 seconds off Oscar Piastri's fastest lap.
"This track is fantastic but we didn't have a good day," Hamilton said after the session.

"Honestly, I can't motivate myself right now. I'm just trying to keep my head down and keep working and pushing, not giving up."
"We hope to have a good day when Friday comes, but it's not going well."
"After a good weekend in Monaco I thought the car would be good today, but it wasn't like that."
"The first FP2 was not so bad, but the second FP2 was really bad. It's naturally frustrating for everyone."
"We had a problem that caused us to lose downforce. Hopefully we can fix that by tomorrow and be in a better place," he said.
